It's our second year of existing as Sustainable Fashion Scotland and YOU are invited to our in-person 2nd birthday party!

We are so excited to be launching Issue 2 of the SFS Magazine on the night, and sharing a bit about the research we have been working on mapping the fashion landscape in Scotland. Please join us in celebrating our 2nd birthday, the magazine featuring inspiring community contributions, and to connect with like-minded people in the sustainable fashion community in Scotland.

And yes, there will be cake!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Come along from 5-10pm to chat and take part in a range of activities including:

• magazine launch
• a mending circle
• clothes swap
• stands from creatives in the #SustFashScotland community
• participatory panel talks
• short film screenings
• and more.

Included in your ticket price is a welcome drink (prosecco, corona, or a soft drink) and access to the full event. There will be a well-stocked bar if you would like to buy more drinks. If you are not able to make it to Edinburgh - don't worry - we will be live streaming and/or uploading recordings of the best bits as soon as possible after the event. The magazine will be available to browse online on the day - and there may be a few extra digital treats too...

ACCESSIBILITY + DISCOUNTED TICKET PRICE

Aligning with our values of inclusivity, we are delighted that the venue (Pleasance Cabaret Bar) is wheelchair accessible. If you have any accessibility questions or requirements, get in touch with our team at sustainablefashionscotland@gmail.com.

If you are a student or on reduced income, we are glad to be able to offer a £3 discount to the full ticket price. Please choose the discounted ticket price when booking your ticket. You will get equal access to the event including the welcome drink. If you or a friend is struggling financially, please get in touch and we'll do our best to get you there!

P.S. If you are gluten free or have any dietary requirements (vegans are already being looked after), let us know in advance at sustainablefashionscotland@gmail.com. Please be aware that filming and photography will take place during the event to be used in public SFS marketing materials. If you wish to not be filmed, please let the filmographer or photographer know.

COVID19 POLICY

Please take a lat flow on the day of the event and do not attend if you have Coronavirus symptoms. Masks/face coverings must be worn unless seated, or drinking or eating while standing (people giving short talks/panel talks may not wear masks during these activities). Please be considerate of others’ personal space and make use of hand sanitizer or wash your hands frequently.
